OVERVIEW
Immigrant children and their parents often face the challenge of having their stories overlooked or forgotten. Their experiences of struggle, resilience, and sacrifice are rarely shared in mainstream narratives, leading to a lack of understanding and appreciation for their journeys.
I created a book that shares the stories of children of immigrants through personal narratives and photographs. By capturing these deeply personal experiences, I hope to celebrate diverse identities, foster understanding, and ensure that these kinds of powerful stories are never forgotten.
Nuestras Voces aims to foster understanding, cultural awareness, and community connection by documenting and sharing the personal narratives and imagery of immigrants and their children in a powerful, story-driven book.
